Duration: 6+ Months

* Configuring and Installing Informix on Unix/Linux platform * Working knowledge in AIX, HPUS, Linux and Solaris environment * Configuration of disk space for databases configuring network and client/server connections to databases * Responsible for database architecture , physical and logical database design. Backup and recovery and performance tuning for Informix database * Monitor and developer database performance profiles including monitoring and ensuring security and integrity of multi-platform database system and environment.
* Handling and Changing Informix operation modes configuring of multiple database servers * Managing memory and CPU resources creation of tables, indexes and databases * Calculation of table and database sizes * Controlling data security regular Informix DB archiving * Disaster recover y from scheduled backup of Informix database * Ensuring availability of backup (using onbar and ontape both) * Timely setting up test environment by creating new Informix instance and resorting latest live data set * Responsible for setup and monitor ER, HDR, RSS, SDS
