Job Title : DevOps Engineer
Location : Dulles, VA(Need Local / Nearby)
Duration : 6+Months Contract
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's/College Degree Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering or equivalent
2-5 years' experience in supporting enterprise applications in a highly transactional environment
Ability to manage multiple issues while maintaining short response and resolution times
Analytical problem-solving abilities
Experience using AWS (Amazon Web Services)
Significant console-level Linux expertise (Redhat/CentOS preferable ) and experience with bash
Experience running a Continuous Integration environment like Jenkins and related CI/CD tools like Chef, Knife, and git
Ruby/Python/Groovy or equivalent scripting language experience
Exposure to Java programming language and other OOP languages and software design principles
Good understanding of web protocols and web services
ROLE
Automation of deployment in the AOL environment
Will be assisting the Chief architect who is hybrid right now. This architect would use this persons help.
This person will help with the consistency of set up in the services that are currently running
Supporting the company with Governance program, security governance initiative using , cloud custodian – Will ensure instances are configured the right way
Nice to Haves
Operational background in AWS
Python and exposure to a language is a play
