Data Analyst

Location: Columbus, OH

Length: 10 months

Start : ASAP

Rate: $40/HR all inclusive

 

Overview:

Large Scale Insurance client in Columbus is looking for a team of 4 Data Analysts. They have a number of ongoing projects that require extensive hands on experience in analyzing data.

 

Required for Data Analyst:

•             5-7 years of experience in Informatica (PWC or IDQ),

•             Strong SQL experience in Teradata or Oracle,

•             Good Understanding on Relational/Dimensional modeling.

•             5 years in writing SQLs in Oracle/MS SQL Server/Teradata DBs

•             Hands on experience in data profiling and mapping integration transformation rules – would prefer someone trained in Informatica (PWC or IDQ)

•             Maps data flows and/or interfaces for impacted business processes

•             Documents source to target mappings

•             Define pseudo-code transformation rules and data quality rules for target metrics and derived attributes

•             Good understanding of relational and dimensional modeling concepts – would prefer someone trained in IDA

•             Ability to understand technical/data mapping gaps/issues and translate them into business/functional issues (and vice versa)

•             Experience with coordination between teams and resources
