Location: McLean, VA

Duration: 12 Months

 

Job Description : 

Need to have experience in Python programming and AWS technologies like EC2, S3, Lambda functions, and exposure to other technologies like: Spark, Kafka, REST, JSON, XML, Ruby, NoSQL databases, relational databases, Chef, Ansible, Maven, Jenkins and AWS. We have various openings that require a broad range of technical skills and experience.

 

Responsibilities:

*Develop complex software/data applications using Python, AWS, Spark.
Candidate must be strong on Python programming

*Work with product owners to understand desired application capabilities and testing scenarios

*Participate in technical design, development, modification, and implementation of computer applications using existing and emerging technology platforms

*Work within and across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions across a full-stack of development tools and technologies

*Demand quality by using engineering practices like pair programming, TDD, ATDD, CI/CD, and Refactoring techniques

Basic Qualifications:

*Bachelor's Degree

*At least 8 + years of experience in hands-on experience in software development

*At least 4 years of good hands on experience Python programming

*At least 3 years of experience creating APIs in Python

*At least 3 years of experience with Unix/Linux systems with scripting experience in Shell, Perl

*At least 2 year's experience in one of the following: Redshift, PostgreSQL

*At least 1 years of experience in big data technologies like Spark streaming, Kafka or similar

*At least 1 year of Agile experience
