Responsibilities

As a Senior Python Developer, your responsibilities will include:

·         Helping develop the next generation referential data platform

·         Helping the team with various projects pertaining to migration, automation and development

·         Fixing bugs and issues in existing production support platforms

·         Implementing enhancement and adding new functionality in existing support UI

·         Implementing and supporting new execution venues

·         Validating data changes and updating the platform accordingly through the UI

 

Our ideal candidate will have:

·         At least 7+ years of experience in Python and Java

·         Experience in SQL, Angular JS, JavaScript, version control (git) and html (a plus)

·         An understanding of financial instruments (equities, debt instruments, futures, and options)

·         Good written and oral communication skills

·         Prior experience in a high pressure environment, preferably in the finance or tech industry

·         Prior experience in Security Master or Market Data infrastructure a plus

·         Experience in Agile development and Jira use.
