Oracle PL/SQL Developer

Harrisburg, PA

 

Job Responsibilities:

• Participate in client business needs discussions and translate those needs from a data perspective into technical executions
• Interact with web development team to develop in tandem back-end solutions with front-end web executions
• Execute Quality Control checks of source code created by other developers
• Monitor incoming/outgoing data
• Troubleshoot errors as they occur
• Create and maintain technical documentation, process flows, etc.
• Create and Maintain Seed Data creation scripts
• Ability to multi-task and comfortable with quickly switching from one task to another
• Complies with and helps to enforce standard policies and procedures
• Train other team members as needed
• Participate in weekly team meetings
• Develop Batch programs and back end code
• Perform data conversion and migration tasks

Job Skills/Requirements:

• PL/SQL (Oracle 12c)
• SQL Developer or Toad
• SQL Debugging
• SQL*Plus
• Experience developing functions, stored procedures and packages
• Strong documentation skills for process flows, business rules and technical documentation
• Identifies opportunities for improvement and makes constructive suggestions for change
• Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat etc.
