Android Application Developer

Job Location: Novi MI

6 Months

We are looking for someone with several years' experience developing Android apps and services and that has a good understanding of the overall Android system.  An ideal candidate would also have done some Android framework porting and have some past experience developing in C++.

 

Primary Skills

·         Strong Programming skills in Java; good understanding of other programming languages like C#, C/C++

·         Good understanding of and work experience in native frameworks in Android SDK

·         Multithreading, Android SDK, XML, Data Structures, Threading, PhoneGap

·         Hands on Experience on QNX IPC, Synchronization mechanism, Resource Managers, Tool chains, Memory profiler and Momentics IDE

·         Knowledge of Eclipse IDE, XML, memory management, file I/O, concurrency, multi-threading etc.

·         Solid applied knowledge of Android SDK and Android Debug Tools.

·         Android Application Level – pure Java experience or full chain App <-> JNI <–> C++ Native Services

·         Android Service Providers Level – pure Java experience or  full chain Service Provider <-> JNI <–> C++ Native Services

·         Android Content Providers Level pure Java experience or  full chain Service Provider <-> JNI <–> C++ Native Services

·         Any specific protocols & services knowledge such as BT profiles, Media Streaming , etc.
