Developer will be working with a team of mid to senior level developers on new application development as well as enhancing and supporting existing in-house developed applications. The role will involve working with the Business Analysts and end users to help identify requirements. Developer is also responsible for analyzing requirements and to design and present solutions to the business problems. Developer must show a background for taking initiative to propose creative approaches to designing user interface, with emphasis on simplicity and enhancing the overall user experience as well as connectivity to back end databases.  The position would be a good fit for someone who is a go-getter and who is a free spirit that doesn't need a lot of oversight. Individual should be flexible and able to adapt to a dynamic environment. Individual must be a self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision.

 

Required:

·         Developer must have 5 years of experience in Information Systems

·         Experience  with .NET Framework, including the full development lifecycle

·         Developer must be proficient in .NET 3.5, 4.0, C#, WPF/XAML, Windows Forms, Web Services and WPF,and MVVM

·         Strong experience in User Interface design

·         Bachelor's degree is preferred.

 

 Preferred:

··         Experience with Expression Blend a plus

·         Microsoft Team Foundation Server experience a big plus

·         Experience developing with .NET Design Patterns

·         Solid background with XAML Coding and WPF

·         Oil and Gas experience a big plus

 

NOTES:

 The work is expected to continue for at least the next 1-2 years. 

Candidates who have worked on Customized Controls

Work history with User Interface to multiple Applications – this firm has over 500 applications spread between 7 divisions.  The guys we currently have on staff - handle as many as 5 .Net projects at a time.

Look for candidates who have been given responsibility of handling a job from receiving specs to acceptance testing.
