Title: MS SQL/EPIC CACHE Database Administrator
Location: Irwindale, CA
Position: Contract

Key Responsibilities:
· Strong hands-on experience working in MS-SQL & CACHE database systems. MUST be fully able to lead/support MS-SQL/CACHE database (operational, troubleshooting, management and administration)
· Experience working in Disaster Recovery Test/Exercises for Database Recovery
· Experience in planning & deployment of Patch/Upgrades on Database systems
· Leads the efforts involved with the development, testing, documentation and integration of database and user interface software products.
· Experience in Proactive Performance & Capacity Analysis of Database infrastructure and provide recommendations to the customer
· Available for on-call duty when necessary
· Experience in configuring Database objects including tables, clusters, indexes, views, sequences, packages and procedures
· Able to work with application developers, system and storage administrators as necessary to optimize Database Configurations
· Able to configure Database encryption and security parameters
· Experience in configuring clustered databases where required using technologies such as SQL Server clusters
· Evaluate Database Configurations and provide recommendations for improvement & execute upon approval
· Assist application developers in the logical design of databases
· Participate in New Project/application development design sessions and provide Database design recommendations
· Implement Database archive processes and procedures
· Monitor Database logging systems including Database lock errors and trouble shoot causes
Qualification:
· Bachelor's degree with at least 5-7 years of Strong Hands-on MS-SQL/EPIC Database experience
· MUST be certified in Epic Cache Database Administrator
· MS-SQL Database Certified (Optional)
· Good Communication & technical Skills
· Experience working with onsite-offshore teams
· Experience working in healthcare Industry and comply with HIPAA/PHI regulations
· Experience in ITIL v3 processes
· Serves as escalation point for all database related incidents to customer
