Role: Life Sciences Domain Business Analyst
Location: Thousand Oaks, CA
Duration of contract: Long term
Interview: Phone/ Skype
Mandatory Skill Required –
Ø Experience in the Regulatory Affairs process within a biopharmaceutical development organization, including a solid understanding of regulated document management and regulatory submission dossier management business processes
Ø Experience with deploying latest generation of Enterprise Document Management (EDM), regulatory submission dossier management, and Structured Content Management (SCM) systems
Ø Self-starter with a high degree of initiativeo Consulting experience or management consulting experience highly preferred
Ø Solid understanding of business process mapping, requirements elicitation and management, agile software development
Ø Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
Ø Team-oriented, placing priority on the team's success
Ø Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skill s
Ø Strong communication and presentation skills and ability to communicate with Business users in non-technical language
Ø Strong leadership and organizational change management skillso Highly analytical with attention to detail.
Ø The IS Business System Analyst works within the Development Information Systems (DevIS) group to support transformational IS initiatives for regulated document management and submission dossier management across multiple functional areas.
Ø The IS Business Analyst acts as an intermediary between the initiative work streams and affected business clients to elicit, clarify, and translate business requirements into documentation and conceptual design (using appropriate tools and models) from which applications and solutions will be developed.
Ø Contributes to the success of the business by defining fundamental improvements in how information is managed and business processes are operated.
Ø Leverages the combination of prior experience, problem solving skills, and client engagement skills to drive our business towards excellence. Is a keen learner and thrives in dealing with ambiguity.
