Title: Java Developer + Elastic Search and Splunk
Location: San Jose CA
Contract up to 6+ Months
End client: Cisco
Rate: $58/hr
• Must have strong and hands on experience in Java/J2EE technologies
• Must have experience in RESTFUL Web Services.
• Must have good experience in indexing huge data.
• Must be Expert in Elastic Search.
• Good to have Lucene Search Engine or Solr experience and capacity planning and cluster maintenance
• Scrum/Agile experience is added advantage.
• Strong understanding of Splunk architecture requirements for scalability, security, and performance
• Experienced with Splunk administration including index management, configuration files, user and role access
• Previous experience building and maintaining Splunk components (indexer, forwarder, search head)
• Familiar with integrating external data inputs including Syslog, SNMP, and REST API.
