Job Description:

DB2 Developer on Linux (No mainframe profiles)

Essential Skills:

·         8 to 10 years of DB2 development skills

·         Very good development experience in SQLs and in Shell scripting

·         Very good experience in performance tuning

·         Functional Testing – Creation of functional test plan and execution experience

·         Experience in data warehouse projects

Role:

·         Good experience and knowledge in developing SQL queries and Shell Scripts in DB2 on Linux platform for a development project in data warehouse

·         Required to do performance tuning of the SQLs and System testing in data warehouse projects

·         Understands SDLC model of the project clearly and is able to design, develop, test and support the subsequent phases of the project

·         Regular interaction with Offshore team and Customers and provide necessary support in different phases of the project
