Job Title:                         Java Developer

Location:                         Des Moines, Iowa

Duration:                         12+ Months/Contract

Interview: Phone and Skype

Need USC/GC/EAD Only

•         Prefer at least three years' experience with core banking and/or financial software development

• •          Experience with Java, Java Script, JQuery, SQL, and HTML5/CSS3

  •          Familiar with Microsoft SQL Server and/or DB2

  •          Experience with Apache Wicket (component-based web application framework for the Java programming language) is a plus, although experience with Sun Microsystems' JavaServer Pages (JSP) is adequate

  •          Working knowledge of IBM AS/400 (iSeries) hardware/operating system is a plus

  •          Ability to recognize problems and react quickly

  •          Organized, detail-oriented and dependable work habits

  •          Must be highly motivated and fully engaged, with a commitment to high standards and possessing a zero‑defect mindset

  •          Excellent communication skills

  •          Strong customer service skills required

  •          Ability to work under the pressure of deadlines, to work overtime, and/or be "on call" as needed
