Position Overview:
Responsibilities/Deliverables that the resource will be responsible for:
| A person in this role will deliver new features, enhancements, and foundational engineering tasks to deliver on a regular basis. Depending on team, this could be every week, or every two weeks. They will guide and mentor a team to ensure artifacts to deploy are ready and tested on time. |
What would a normal day for this position look like??
| This is a 100% developer role where the person is expected to work on features or technical debts, perform peer reviews, participate in scrum events. |
Skills Overview:
What are the MUST have skills that you are looking for in a candidate?
| Qualified candidates will have experience leading development teams in a fast-paced Agile environment. They should have 7-8 years of JavaScript and Java/Groovy development experience, with an emphasis on Javascript. A very qualified candidate will be a hands-on engineer who has experience delivering high scale applications. Preferred requirements: Knowledge of cloud infrastructure and "content delivery networks" is a huge plus. |
What are the soft skills that you feel candidates must-have in order to be successful in this role?
| Must be a great team player and should be able to work in a cross functional team |
