ROLE NAME: Sr. DevOps Engineer

LOCATION: Palo Alto, CA

               

The specific role for Sr. DevOps Engineer requires these skills:

- Kubenettes/Marathon/Mesos/Consul a must

- AWS/Google Cloud/

- Ability to move from RPM to Dockers (essentially from package based to container based environment)

- write saltstack

- add monitoring/sensu checks

- write data back-up scripts

- work on ELK, HBase, Solr, Tomcat

- Docker, Kubernetes

 

 

The tech stack for Symphony is:

·         Linux (Centos 7) - OS

·         AWS (EC2)/Google Cloud - Cloud platforms

·         MongoDB/HBase/Cassandra - Big Data

·         SaltStack - Deployment automation platform

·         Sensu/Consul - monitoring

·         Solr/ElasticSearch - Search and Analytics Engine

·         Tomcat - webserver

·         hazelcast - Java based in memory data cache

·         zookeeper/CHEF/Puppet - config management

·         NgInx - High performance load balancer
