Job Description:
This job is on the application side, not the database side.
The right candidates should have experience details & job titles that include "Oracle Cloud ERP Security Administrator"
Oracle Cloud ERP is comprised of 2 parts: (1) Applications – the Security Administrator role Mgr needs to fill is on the Applications side (2) Database – the candidate I submitted had a lot of DBA experience, which is on the Database side so although he seemed to have strong experience, it was on the wrong side of Oracle Cloud ERP, not the Applications/Security Admin exp. he needs.
This role shouldn't involve much/any real development work. "The job will primarily be configuration work related specifically to the Security piece on the Applications side which includes setting up user access across the Enterprise" – Mgr emphasized that extensive 'configuration' experience is critical, very important experience that candidates MUST have or they won't be the right fit.
Candidates need strong experience (in this type of role) with the following 3 Oracle Modules: (1) Finance (2) Order Management (3) Billing.
