·         Title:           Tableau  Administrator

·         Location:      Fairfield, CA

·         Duration:      6 + months contract

 

Job Summary

Tableau Server Administrator will be the primary person responsible for the installation and maintenance of Tableau.  The Tableau Administrator will be responsible for both implementation planning and technical support for all Tableau projects. This individual will be the customer's central point of contact for this new implementation and all post-deployment support, including problem management, service call resolution, proactive support, and troubleshooting as it relates to Tableau. This position combines a solid background in Tableau administration with strong, customer relationship management skills, including production monitoring, creative problem solving and proactive communications.

Key Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

•      Install / upgrade Tableau server and conduct server performance tuning for optimization.

•      Administer user, user groups, and scheduled instances for reports in Tableau.

•      Create and update server architecture for scheduling tasks.

•      Analyse and resolve performance and server based issues.

•      Prepare backups using Tabadmin and Tabcmd commands.
