Job Title     :           Network Security

Location     :           East Peoria, IL

Duration    :           24 + Months

Rate             :           $60/Hr

Local consultants are highly preferred.

 

Must Need Skills: (CCIE) and Data Center and Cisco Router and Cisco Switch.

 

Technical Skills Required              

• Bachelor's degree in computer science; or networking; or computer engineering; or equivalent IT related degree required.

• 10 or more years of hands-on data center network implementation experience required.

• 10-12 years progressive job related experience required.

• Cisco Certified Internetwork Engineer (CCIE) – Data Center and/or Route / Switch required.

• Practical experience with Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI)

• Experience with other Software Defined Network (SDN) products.

• Converged infrastructure network design, implementation and support.

• Cloud network design, implementation and support.

• Relevant work experience with medium to large companies.

• Expert knowledge of Cisco ACI, NxOS and IOS, other SDN products Tiered Domains, QoS, data center network design, cloud infrastructure design and management, OSPF, BGP, VLAN Trunking

• Ability to learn new, complex networks quickly.

• Ability to identify, interpret and evaluate system and network requirements.

• Ability to troubleshoot issues and make system changes as needed to resolve issue.

• Ability to respond to demanding project delivery dates.

• Ability to adjust rapidly to changing project requirements.

• Strong applied ITIL skills.

 

Desired: Experience working with or for network or telecommunications vendors. Project management experience.

 

Soft Skills Required        

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage one's time as well as well as being a collaborative team member.
