Role:  Manual QA

Location: Horsham, PA

Job description:

1. Create Test Plan, Test scripts and test cases based on the business requirement documents/Use cases and System design documents.

2. Work with the Functional Analyst and the Development team to understand the design and business logic.

3. Validate data in the Oracle tables using Oracle SQL Developer.

4. Monitor and execute batch jobs through Tivoli WorkStation, run batch job/command lines through UNIX (Putty) and validate the 3rd party files created in FTP Pro (IP Switch).

5. Report and track issues found while testing using Serena Team Track

6. Effectively communicate testing activities and findings in oral and written formats.

7. Work with the development team to ensure that defect tracking (identification, fixing, re-testing and migration of fixes) is properly addressed.

8. Test Management and Requirements traceability performed using HP ALM (Application Lifecycle Management) tool.

9. Deliver assigned tasks on time with quality.
