JOB DESCRIPTION
Looking for a strong Oracle EBS Database Administrator for a 6 month Raleigh, NC.
We are looking for a candidate that has both deep functional knowledge of Oracle EBS ( in particular product management / inventory modules) as well as strong DBA skill sets.
Extensive functional knowledge of Oracle EBS is required.
This role would be a part of a 6 person team.
Local candidates to Raleigh, NC highly preferred.
US Citizens and those authorized to work in the US are encouraged to apply.
Client is open to sponsoring visas however after 6 months.
Requirements:
• Minimum 2-3 years' experience as a database administrator for Oracle e Business Suite Applications.
• Demonstrated DBA experience related to implementing and supporting the Oracle R12 applications and associated infrastructure components
• Prior experience performing capacity planning, Disaster Recovery, environment refresh and cloning of production and pre-production environments
• Prior experience in configuring database, application server, and Oracle EBS R12 environment to implement including:
o Oracle RAC
o Data Guard
o RMAN
o Access Management
o Security
o Installing Patches
• Demonstrated experience developing with TOAD, PL/SQL, SQL, load scripts, UNIX scripts, personalization's, knowledge of workflow is a plus
• Good understanding of Oracle Applications table structure and APIs
• Experience documenting systems
• Experience in supporting unit testing, integration testing, and conducting code reviews
• Oracle Functional Knowledge in Manufacturing Modules like Inventory, Bill of Materials and Product Hub
• Experience in Workflows and troubleshooting
Responsibilities:
• Monitor and maintain database security and database software
• Design, develop, implement and maintain Oracle database instances
• Backup and recovery (RMAN)
• Root cause analysis of production-related database issues
• Daily maintenance, monitoring, problem resolution and internal customer/development support
• Review, design and develop data models in conjunction with the application development teams
• Database & Application (SQL) performance tuning
• Test, validate and implement performance and resource solutions
• On-call for production databases on a rotation basis
• Assist with Oracle R12 development and break-fix support including:
o Support functional team and provide assistance in troubleshooting, debugging, and providing resolution to issues related to:
o Interface errors
o Workflows
o Personalization's
