Position: Cloud Engineer / Sr Cloud Engineer / Architect 

Location: Parsippany, NJ 07054

Job Description:

Job Description:
•        8 years of overall IT experience with at least 5+ years of core design, development experience in Microsoft technologies.
•        At least 1-2 years hands on experience in Developing and configuring application on MS Azure Cloud services.
•        Thorough knowledge of Azure platform, provisioning of VM's, connectivity, Usage of Azure PaaS services.
•        Thorough understanding of the .Net framework, Active Directory
•        Must have design, development experience in  
o        ASP .Net -  3 yrs+
o        SQL server/Azure SQL services – 3 yrs+
•        Knowledge/experience of Java suite, VB 5/6, MS Access, VBA, C#, Sharepoint, MS MQ, WCF, Biztalk services will be an added advantage
•        Experience in modernization of legacy Microsoft platform applications to modern platforms like.Net 3.x, 4.x. Having .NET 5 (core) experience will be a plus.
•        Experience in home grown/third party conversion tools from VB to .Net, ASP to ASP .net/.Net as part of modernization will be an added advantage.
•        Ability to understand and ensure NFRs are met.
•        Thorough understanding of the modernization process, application qualification, modernization treatments/methods.
•        Experience in designing modernized IT landscape/architecture is preferable.
•        Knowledge of Pricing and Estimation methods using standard estimation templates, rough order of magnitude (ROM) estimates.
•        Hands on knowledge of Development and Test processes including agile methodologies and agile project management.
