Our client is a Fortune 200 company that for almost 200 years has built some of the best-known brands in the WORLD- leading in their respective categories. With over 9,000's employees coast to coast, their Nashville location is looking to bring on a Senior UI Developer to work on an existing project and application which is used by 1,000's of their employees nationwide.
This application manages and processes a specific part of their manufacturing business. We are looking to bring on a .NET consultant who does not need very much direction and is comfortable making recommendations as they see them while doing the hands on development and coding.
Required Technologies:
· HTML5/CSS3
· JavaScript (client/server)
· JavaScript Frameworks: (one or more)
· C#
· ASP.NET, MVC, Visual Studio 2013
· SPA (Single Page Application) design experience
· TFS, source control
· Unit Testing
· SQL Server and T-SQL
Senior .NET Developer Job Description:
Day to Day Responsibilities:
· Provides support in specialized technology areas that can include, but is not limited to, elements such as:
· Web design, requirements/specifications definition, analysis, assessments, planning, design, development, integration, testing, installation, performance tuning, deployment, or maintenance.
· Contributes to or develops technical documentation.
· Contribute to technical presentations.
· Use applicable methodologies, modeling/estimating techniques, tools, applications, systems, software, or databases to perform assigned tasks.
· Candidate must comply with the standard and organization requirements relative to specific assignments.
Minimum Qualifications:
· 5+ years design, development, and testing Microsoft .NET applications.
· Completed Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related field. Four years of additional general experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree.
· Strong written and verbal communications.
· Strong client facing skills.
· Ability to work in small, rapid-development teams.
· IIS 7 experience and experience managing web applications
· Knowledge of a JS Framework such as Kendo UI AngularJS
· Proficient with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery
· Ability to interface with clients and gather requirements and facilitate meetings.
