Description:
Very strong understanding of Equity, Fixed Income and basic Derivative instruments used in financial services.
Strong understanding of Portfolio Management solutions, reference data, various industry standard reporting classifications.
Minimum of 6-10 years proven experience developing the skills required for the business analyst role
Minimum of 6-10 years experience implementing Eagle PACE, Performance, or equivalent product.
Providing specifications to support Eagle, Informatica, Autosys, or equivalent technology is preferred.
Past experience working with offshore-Onsite Model is preferred.
This will include carrying out business process reviews and/ or production of business requirements
Experience creating detailed cost / benefit analysis
Able to demonstrate knowledge and use of structured business analysis techniques
Experience creating detailed test plans and executing test cases
Experience analyzing business or technical problems and proposing and implementing solutions
Good Hands on experience on MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint
Broad knowledge of systems and business processes in use for the relevant business areas
General understanding of system architecture
Strong ability to use SQL for analyzing data
Broad knowledge of the systems and business processes in use for the Equity Investments function.
Excellent verbal and written skills (to include process flowcharting and formal business solutions documents)
Able to work in a global, multicultural environment
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to analyze requirements and problems and to propose innovative but workable solutions
Role: Sr. AbInitio Developer
Work Location : Jacksonville, FL
Duration of assignment (in Months): 12 Months
Relevant Experience: 7-10 Years
Technical/ Functional Skills:
•Expertise in Abinitio, Shell Scripting, good knowledge in XML with an exposure to Meta-SQL.
•Identify, recommend and implement ETL process and architecture improvements.
•Conduct impact assessment and determine size of effort based on requirements.
•Implement an Abinitio based ETL solution fulfilling stringent performance requirements.
•Ability to successfully work within multiple requirements, design, and development approaches and methodologies (agile, iterative, waterfall, etc.)
•Excellent communication, presentation and facilitation skills
•Self-motivated and Self-learner
•Understanding of Data Warehouse Concepts including databases, data modeling, ETL, XML and Meta-SQL.
•Proficiency & varied experience in BIPM technology mainly in Teradata, Oracle BI stacks
Experience Required:
6-8 years of BIPM (ETL) experience.
5+ years of experience as a Sr. Abinitio Developer
Roles & Responsibilities:
•Lead and guide development of an Abinitio based ETL architecture.
•Develop solution in highly demanding environment and provide hands on guidance to other team members.
•Collaborate with product development teams and senior designers to develop architectural requirements to ensure client satisfaction with product.
•Manage build phase and quality assure code to ensure fulfilling requirements and adhering to ETL architecture.
•Resolve difficult design and develop issues.
•Develop policies and procedures related to development and support of new and ongoing systems to ensure the integrity of data.
•Good Understanding of traditional RDBMS systems like SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata, etc.
•Ability to work with a variety of teams and clients, mentoring junior resources, and effectively handling multiple tasks/deadlines with success.
•Excellent communication and documentation skills, especially when communicating with business users.
•Leadership skills, motivation to keep abreast of emerging technologies and pick up new skill sets quickly.
