Position: Arcsight Consultant,
Location: Scottsdale, AZ/Woonsocket, RI
Duration: 12+ Months

Arcsight Connector Configuration / SmartConnector Migration
This role will be responsible for configuration of Arcsight Management Center (ArcMC) appliances and migration of Connector Agent configurations from one older Arcsight Connector appliances to the new ArcMC environment.

Experience/ Skill sets:
Installation and configuration of ArcMC appliances; migration of Connector Agent configurations.  Experience with various types of SmartConnector deployments, including Syslog, Windows Event Collector, JDBC, file (NFS/CIFS mounted filesystem), etc.

Scope:
8 ArcMC Devices (4x Rhode Island, 4x Arizona)
61 Arcsight SmartConnectors
30 Syslog Receivers

Objectives:
ArcMC installation and configuration
Migration of 61 SmartConnector and 30 Syslog Receivers
Validation and Testing of SmartConnector configurations
Troubleshooting and Analysis

Decommission of old Arcsight Connector hardware (approx.. 28 devices)
