Job Responsibilities:
The typical responsibilities will include, but not limited to, the following:
· Should be able to lead the design, build, test and deploy solution on ESRI ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Server (Javascript API, HTML5, Type Script, Custom Widgets, Web App Builder), ArcGIS Online, and ArcGIS Mobile.
· Should be familiar with the latest technology trends in the GIS Industry and the roadmap of Esri solutions.
· Should be able to run the functional workshops with business for GIS requirements
· Should be able to do the demos during the functional workshops using the GIS product. Should participate in requirement discussions with the client for the GIS program. Coordinate with offshore in converting the business requirements into functional use cases and technical design.
· Should be able to guide the developers in resolving issues related to the development. The key focus areas will be Javascript API, HTML5, Type Script, Silverlight API and ArcGIS Runtime development platform (Xamarin, Java etc.) .
· Should be able to design the forms, workflows and portlets, integration with the required systems. Should have expertise in development of solutions in the mobile platform.
· Should be able to perform issue resolutions during support /Post-Go Live phase.
· Should be able to assist the Testing team with the functional areas to be tested.
· The candidate must be a team player and is also expected to help the project team with any functional issues that may arise during the course of the project.
· Participate in project review meetings with the client and provide regular updates to offshore. Should coordinate with offshore for getting the deliverables on time
· Should be open to learn any new technologies in the GIS space if required.
Skills Required:
· 6-10 years of total IT industry experience, with at least 5 years in implementing GIS Solutions for Utilities.
· Experience of at least 1 or 2 full-cycle implementation for a utility (Power/Water/Sewer) with hands on design, development and deployment experience in GIS.
· Familiarity with process integration of GIS with other utility enterprise and operational systems such as core WMIS. CIS, Synergee etc.
· Familiarity with GIS Product Architecture, ArcGIS server, Data Model, web services, python scripting, geo-processing services.
· Programming experience in Java Script, Type Script and ArcGIS Mobile platform is required.
· Exposure to US (Regulated and De-Regulated) Markets
· Experience of leading development team, working with client teams/SMEs and leading them through the project life cycle.
· Good interpersonal communications and analytical ability
· Strong soft skills required
