Need someone local to Austin

Rate is $45/Hr

 

REQUIREMENTS:

·         3 - 6 years of software engineering experience

·         Hands on experience in J2EE technologies including EJB3, JMS, JDBC, Web Services / SOA, XML, JSON, SOAP, RESTful APIs

·         Web Development: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, WebSockets, Jquery

·         Software development background using server side technologies (Java, NodeJS , Vert.x, and/or Spring 4.0 or similar frameworks)

·         Data: NoSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, Hadoop, Redis, Apache NiFi, horizontal scaling, eventual consistency

·         AWS, DynamoDB, Lambda, S3, API Gateway

·         JS stack (Node/Angular/JQuery)

·         Experience with JS frameworks (Single Page Applications like React/Angular)

·         Spring 4.0

·         Familiar with messaging and integration technologies and components

·         Developing event and message driven applications

·         Experience with at least one of Message platforms (Oracle AQ, SQS, RabbitMQ, Kafka or Apache MQ)

 

PREFERENCES:

Experience with Hortonworks data platform, Spark, and/or Kafka

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Build highly available, scalable software API services
