Role:  Cloud Security Consultant

Location: Auburn Hills, MI

Duration: 6+ Months

 

Mandatory skill:

As a security lead for a customer facing engagement in a consulting & Professional services team, who is focused on driving complete Security assignment,

Overall responsibilities include:

•        Expert level working experience some of the technologies like, Server Security, DLP, SIEM, WAF, Perimeter Firewall

•        Have handled customer project for implementation/Migration of security controls on virtualized/cloud environment

•        Experience on architecting security controls on AWS cloud for applications and critical data.

•        Understanding and Product exposure on leading CASB solutions in market like Skyhigh, Cisco Cloud lock, Netskope, Symantec blucoat/ELastica etc.

•        Experience on NG Firewall, DLP for application hosting in AWS, Azure or other cloud.

•        Exposure to Web Application Firewall migration / Integration projects and integration of heterogeneous Networks/Services/systems would be an added advantage, Log collection and analysis.

•        Performs analysis and diagnosis of complex security problems

•        Prepare implementation, migration plan and risk mitigation strategy for Web Application Firewalls technologies

•        Ability to provide detailed network Security drawings and diagrams and relation as-built documentation.

•        Requirements gathering / analysis to enable project team to understand functional / technical requirements

•        Contribute to system / functional architecture analysis and Participate in solution identification and implementation

•        Worked closely with customers, project managers and other engineers to develop customized Security solution.

•        Leading the Technical team and offshore and onsite co-ordinations

•        Work closely with the Project Manager in project planning, status reporting and ensure adherence to SLAs.

 

Preferred skill:

Certification in a cloud technology or generalist such as: CCSK, AWS Architect, or Azure cloud

 

Job responsibility:

•        Design and develop security architectures for public, private, and hybrid cloud based systems.

•        Collaborate with Product Managers, Platform Leads, and Information Security teams, to architect and design cloud security solutions.

•        Complete architecture assessments across projects, prove use of security solutions to support new distributed computing solutions that span private, public, and hybrid cloud solutions.

•        Work with Engineering, Infrastructure Services, and Application Development organizations to choose appropriate technology solutions and facilitates complete integration of client's environments.

•        Backup cloud and on-premise resources, including in a hybrid environment

•        Configure multi-factor authentication on virtual and hardware devices

•        Provision and maintain infrastructure with code

•        Responsible for automation and self healing system configurations

•        security procedures and implement/maintain secure configuration of physical and virtual machines
