"Ability to support and/or develop a variety of VB6 and .NET Applications.*
Required Skills:
• Proficient designing & developing stand-alone VB.NET WinForms and Console applications
• Demonstrated expertise in Object-oriented application architecture, design, and development
• Expertise with integration of .NET applications with SQL Server 2005
• Expertise designing and developing VB.NET applications and services
• Thorough working knowledge of the .NET Framework and the CLR
• Proficient developing SQL Server Stored Procedures and queries
• Proficient in use of File System Objects in VB.Net
• Able to complete assigned tasks with minimum amount of supervision/direction
• Able to effectively prioritize concurrent tasks and complete work on schedule in a demanding environment
• Exceptional communication skills
• Ability to develop design documentation and program specifications
• Ability to gather and document system and functional requirements
Wants:
• Knowledge of Java/J2EE programming, Ethernet communication, PC hardware and operating systems including Windows
• Experience/knowledge of Serial Communication (RS-232 / RS-422)
• Familiar with Windows CE devices
• Familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC's)
• Familiarity with OPC Server (Kepware)
• VB.NET using Compact Framework version 2.0
• Familiarity with TQM Tools and FMEA (Failure Modes and Effect Analysis)
• Effectively communicate technical concepts in business terminology
• Familiar with Honda environment
