Position: Lead IIB Message Broker

Duration: 3+Months

Location: Roanoke,VA

 

 

Job Description: 

Qualifications Basic

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.

• 7+ years of experience with Information Technology.

Skill Set

• At least 7+ Years' experience with MB technology integration development. Knowledge on Supply Chain applications will be added advantage.

• Experience and understanding of Application development and maintenance service

• Experience of MB7 and IB10

• Strong ESQL skills

• Deployment experience

• Integration experience with multiple platforms

• Proficient knowledge of how to design and develop custom applications and utilize the

Following skills, programming languages and technologies:

PL/SQL, XML Oracle 10g and 11g , DB2, MS SQL server, MQ Broker versions 7,8,9, IB10. E-SQL, UML, ERD, WebSphere MQ, MOM integration strategies, Queue based strategies, Web Service based strategies, Familiarity with JBOSS and WebShere application containers. JAVA, RETEK, AS400, EDI knowledge a plus

• Working knowledge on activities including estimation, requirements elicitation, validation of architecture creation and review of design, development, review of work product from team, implementation activities and minor enhancements.

• Mentor the team on technical competencies

• Ability to work in team environment and client interfacing skills

• Ability to manage multiple projects

• Analytical skills

• Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.

• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.

• Identifies and informs IT architects, project managers and appropriate team leads of any issues that may affect any other areas of the project.

• Participates in transitions of the application or technical architecture components to the testers.

• Nice to have

o Conversion experience between 7 and 10

o Integration experience with AS400

o Integration experience with Oracle RMS

o Large project deployment experience
