• Builds unit and integration tests, test rigs and mocks suitable for validating the correctness of service API implementations.

• Follows best practices associated with DevOps and value-driven development - ensuring quality from concept to production.

• Works well in a small team and capable of collaborating with other teams to align objectives and share expertise throughout the broader organization.

• Identifies and keeps abreast of novel technical concepts and markets.

• May author technical reports, papers, articles, patents and presentations.

 

Required skills:

• DevOps experience with continuous delivery on public clouds such as Google Cloud, Azure and AWS.

• Experience with agile product development practices required.

• Experience with open source software platforms such as Apache Hadoop preferred.

• Experience with microservices architecture, development, deployment and testing.

• Familiarity with container or virtualization technologies.

• Competency with managed languages such as Java or C# required.

• Experience with compiled languages such as C or C++ preferred.

• Knowledge of interpreted or dynamic scripting languages preferred.

• Experience in the energy and petroleum industry preferred.
