Job Title: Sitecore Technical Lead

Location: Chicago, IL

Duration : 6 weeks

Required Experience

Candidates should have led at least three end-to-end Sitecore development projects.

have experience in developing business and technical requirements for content rendering, web governance (workflows), content authoring, and deployments, as well as experience developing Sitecore architecture to meet those needs.

have experience in working with Information Architects and Visual Designers to ensure the web site design and flow is consistent with Sitecore best practices.

have experience in managing teams of 2-5 Sitecore developers to develop and configure content rendering and content publishing concepts using Sitecore, such as content presentation templates, usage of Sitecore APIs, content entry templates, in-context editing, workflow configuration, asset management, user setup and permissions, site and content search, analytics integration, etc.

Required Experience/Skills

.Net 4+ and all related features

Fluency with Sitecore 7+ product, modules, APIs, and concepts; preferred experience with Sitecore 7

Experience with

essential technologies: C#, ASP.NET, Linq, ADO.NET Entity Framework, AJAX, .Net MVC 3, and XML/XSLT

JavaScript frameworks (JQuery, Prototype), HTML 5, CSS 3 and XHTML

Object-Oriented design patterns and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), including technologies such as SOAP, WSDL, WCF and Web Services

Extensive experience with source code management tools like CVS, SVN , Git

Experience with developing solutions involving relational database technologies on SQL Server platform

Fluency with native Sitecore database schema and processes

Experience with

Experience in estimating, planning, and scoping Sitecore implementations

Comfortable with a fast paced environment, where requirements and projects can change quickly

 

Nice To Have

Experience with:

mobile development on any platform

cloud-based architecture (e.g. Azure, Amazon web services)

within Sitecore development community

with another major content management package, such as Ektron/EPiServer, SharePoint, HP Autonomy, Umbraco, etc
