Position: Sr. Java Backend Developer
Location: Cary, NC
Duration: 6 Months
No OPT candidate please.
Description:
· Bachelor ' s degree and 5+ years of relevant experience or Masters degree and 3+ years relevant experience.
· Experience with Eclipse or other IDE and writing unit tests with JUnit framework.
· Must also have experience developing decoupled messaged-oriented integration end-to-end using XML, XPATH, XSLT, XSD, JSON.
· Ability to design and develop applications in Java by using following technologies: SOAP, JMS, JAVA, JDBC, JNDI, Message Queues, Unix and/or Linux.
· Ability to write build and installation scripts by using one or more of the following Perl, ANT, Maven, Gradle and UNIX shell.
· Understanding of enterprise application design, as well as web applications.
· Understanding of Services Oriented Architectures with one or more of the following web services/SOAP ,XML/HTTP, or JSON/REST.
· Ability to develop applications by using one or more of following technologies in order of preference Oracle SOA Suite , JBOSS application server, BEA, IBM Websphere, or other Java Enterprise Application Server.
· Ability to perform software design by using object modeling language such as UML.
Preferred Qualifications:
· A strong understanding of Unix and Linux based operating systems and their tuning.
· Experience in designing middleware workflow engine by using Oracle SOA Suite 12g or JBOSS.
· Experience in developing message-oriented integration application.
· Experience in BI and Analytics.
· Design patterns and Spring framework experience.
· Experience in one or more of the following technologies Grails, JBPM, JSON, Hibernate, Oracle Database, Postgres Database, MS SQL Server.
· Experience in developing test cases using JUnit.
· Experience with systems and services designed to support highly available services.
