Job Description:
• Expert in scripting languages - Shell, Perl, Ruby, Python (any one at least)
• Expert in Jenkins
• Experience in building binaries using Maven & Xcode
• Know about Nexus repository Manager and its necessity.
• SVN and GIT - should be able to use it and know its internals to troubleshoot at times.
• Experience in using Linux and basic in-built commands to troubleshoot basic issues like disk space, port conflicts, processes, memory, permissions, etc.,
• Puppet & MCO - Should know to use it.
• Experience setting up simple web server like Apache or containers like Tomcat. Should be able to meddle with server configs. Know about HAProxy is a plus.
• Basic knowledge about java and start/stop process.
• Should be a quick learner.
• Attention to detail is important.
• Adherence to Apple work culture and prior experience at Apple will be a plus.
POSITION : LINUX ADMIN WITH CHEF & PUPPET
Location : Sunnyvale, CA
Duration : 6+ Months
· 6+ years experience in Virtualization & UNIX System Administration
· Expertise in expertise in Linux (RedHat RHEL 6/5/4/3 & SUSE SLES 11/10/9/8), VMware vSphere ESXi 4.1/5.0/5.1 and SRM 4.5, AIX 7.1/6.1/5.x, and Windows (NT/2000/2003) Server.
· Experience in Shell (bash, C and Ksh), Perl, Php and Python Scripting
· Experience with Chef & Puppet
· Responsible for automation using Puppet Enterprise as well as system reporting
Position : MAC OS COCOA Developer
Location : Sunnyvale, CA
Duration : 6+ Months
Experience with Mac OS X development using Xcode and native SDK.
· Strong Objective C programming skills
· Experienced in using Xcode tools like Instruments
· Hands on experience in developing web services clients using Cocoa/Obj. C
· Strong in design patterns including MVC.
POSITION : UI ENGINEER REQUIREMENTS
Location : Sunyvale, CA
Duration : 6+ Months
· Should be able to define and describe Semantic HTML. They should know not to use tables for layout, but it's more important they know why this is frowned upon, and why certain markup patterns (ex. unordered lists for navigation) are common.
· Should know what a JavaScript closure is, and give an example of how it's used.
· Should know the difference between == / != and === / !== (type coercion).
· Should be able to describe the MVC pattern.
· Should know the difference between function scope and block scope.
· Should be able to explain the concept of accessibility as it pertains to UI. Bonus points if they have experience with specific concepts (VoiceOver/screen readers, WAI-ARIA, keyboard-only navigation).
· Experience with jQuery is ideal, but they should also be fluent and well experienced with writing native JavaScript.
· Should understand the difference between class and ID in HTML/CSS, and why it's preferable to use classes.
· Should understand CSS specificity rules, and how to avoid selector conflicts
· Should be able to describe some JavaScript optimization techniques
· Bonus: Familiarity with the concept of OOCSS
· Bonus: Knowledge of, or experience with CanJS, or a similar library
· Bonus: Experience with writing JavaScript unit tests
· Bonus: Experience with CSS preprocessors
POSITION : BACKEND ENGINEER REQUIREMENTS
Location : Sunnyvale, CA

• 5 - 10 years overall Software Engineer/Developer experience
• Must be a self-starter and comfortable with a start-up like environment
• At least 3 years experience with OO Java programming (Spring)
• Must have experience with Spring
• Must have experience with jQuery
• Comfortable with the Agile Development
• Familiarity with developing and consuming RESTful services
• Familiarity with Maven
• Being a full-stack web developer is an added plus (experience with both front UI as well Servlet)
POSITION : PROJECT COORDINATOR/RELEASE COORDINATOR
Location : Sunnyvale, CA

Exp - 2-5 years
· This role is for a self-motivated release management professional who has several years experience of helping to coordinate and plan release activities, working closely with engineers and project managers.
· The primary responsibility will be for developing and managing the release schedule for the Online Store's major releases across the year, working under the direction of the NPI & Special Projects Manager who has full visibility of Apple's plans for major events and product announcements.
· There are multiple teams impacted by the release schedule, and complex dependencies between products, projects and teams that need to be carefully analyzed, communicated, documented and managed.
· The Release Coordinator must be familiar with release terminology, scheduling and documentation, and must be have enough technical knowledge to work credibly with the Release Engineers who handle the actual execution of release deployments.
