We've one urgent requirement for a Model Maker in Redmond, WA 98052.

Job Description:

·        This role is to work closely with our Design and Engineering teams to deliver Models and Prototypes that communicate their design intents, including functional and non-functional prototypes and models.

·        Candidate will be supporting these teams in troubleshooting and finding solutions to complex problems.

·        Must have excellent interpersonal skills as we are a very dynamic and collaborative team, as well as working with other Model Makers.

·        Must have the ability to manage your work against project prioritization as you take on multiple projects at the same time and communicate your status on any given time.

·        Candidate will be responsible for completing a prototype or model utilizing tools and equipment including traditional shop tools, CNC, CAM programming, lasers and finish coatings.

·        Candidate will be required to prepare your data using Solid Works or Pro/E.  

·        Must be able to learn new processes and tools quickly in order to ramp up on current technologies 

 

Qualifications:

·        Accredited degree in Machining Technology or related degree in Model Making, or equivalent experience Computer skills required, including Windows, MS Office Suite

·        Minimum of 5 years' experience in ID Model Making and/or developing Engineering Prototypes.

·        5+ years of knowledge and experience in CAD including Pro/E, or Solid Works.

·        Knowledge and experience in CAM programming and CNC machining.

·        Candidate must have a high mechanical aptitude.
