Title: Oracle EBS Test Automation Engineer

Location: Salt Lake City, Utah

Duration: Long Term

 

Job Description

Candidates should have at least 7 years professional experience with all aspects of the QA process in an Oracle applications environment.

Should have experience in Oracle eBusiness suite testing support and should have working experince in financial modules.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

Oracle Applications release 11i and/or release 12 development experience

Functional experience with Core Financial, OM modules

Fluency in all testing types, techniques, and their values: White/Black box, boundary, unit, component, integration, system, UI, manual, exploratory, acceptance, regression, load, performance, etc.

Solid experience developing test scripts, test plans and performing code review

Working knowledge of testing concepts, verification and validation techniques, defect management, quantitative methods, risk management and measurement programs

The ability to build clear, concise, and complete test-related documentation

Good judgment in weighing the forces involved in determining software readiness

Solid SQL skills

Experience debugging issues

Self-motivation and interest in continual learning

Be able to work independently with minimal direct supervision

Experience with QTP Automation/testing and other testing software (Selenium/Webdriver)

PL/SQL skills/understanding

Experience with Subversion (SVN) or other source code management tools.

Basic understanding of software development practices

Automation and regression system implementation experience

Linux experience running scripts and copying files

Strong knowledge of IT standards and procedures

Java coding experience for test automation

Familiarity with Jira or other bug tracking software

Experience in an agile/scrum environment
