Description:
Our client, one of the largest global investment banking and securities firms, is seeking a Java Flex Analyst.
This focus of the role is to work:
Design and develop the strategic Compliance platform for the firm
Prototype aesthetic and user friendly UI screen flows that effectively cater to business needs
Work independently on assigned activities no need to be directed at all times
Assist team lead in executing the project plan and meeting due dates
Assist QA team in building test plan and test scripts
Assist team lead and/or own release management of the systems developed
Support systems (L2/L3) in production promptly and in a professional manner
Skills & Experience Required:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering with total of 3-5 years of experience
Strong 3+ years of Adobe Flex development experience, 3+ years in Web based GUI development
Strong 3+ years of core Java experience
Experience with common design pattern
Strong database skills SQL server
Fully versed with SDLC process including agile methodology
Capital Markets experience is a plus: understanding of Equities and Fixed Income Products
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong team player and interpersonal skills
The candidate should have a positive outlook, with the personality to work with the development committee as well as present to business or IT senior managers as required.
Skills preferred:
Experience of Compliance functions a huge plus
Scripting (Perl/Shell) is a plus
