Skills and Responsibilities :-

  

1.     10-15 Years of Experience in Design and Development of applications with Java/.NET Technologies.

2.     Strong Analytical, Problem Solving and Communication Skills

3.     Ability to evaluate products, perform proof of concepts, build and develop utility tools

a.     Code quality, framework support Toolings and Developer productivity tools – E.g. FxCop, Visual Studio Code Analyzer, Rational Software Analyzer

b.     Proof of Concepts – Integrate FxCop with Team City etc

4.     Ability to lead strategic transformation initiatives, define framework requirements and roadmaps

a.     ALM, Test Data, Testing, Entitlements

b.     Soap v/s Rest strategy, WCF vs WebAPI etc

5.     Provide Application Design Guidance, Trainings, Critical Application code review.

a.     Enabling right optimal design for Wealth Apps

b.     Cultural practice for code review based on predefined check list

c.     Code quality, framework support Toolings and Developer productivity tools – E.g. FxCop, Visual Studio Code Analyzer, Rational Software Analyzer

d.     Developer newsletter, Frameworks and Best Practices training

   

Please do not give general Java or .NET profiles, need persons who understand the overall code development lifecycle, be able to perform the design and development of applications, incorporate good coding guidelines and make applications adhere to it, build test frameworks etc. Would need somebody hands on and also has seen good variety of application development.
