Position: Business Analyst(Retail)
Location: Louisville, KY
Duration: 12+ Months
Exp Required: 7+ Yrs
H1 Visa required if consultant is on H1
Mandatory Technical/Functional Skills:
* Strong skills to understand, conceptualize, and depict system solutions that span multiple systems.
* Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio)
* Experience in creating business cases and writing proposals
* Experience in the software development methodology lifecycle - including business planning, data analysis, process analysis and design; business, functional, and non-functional requirements analysis, use case analysis, system design, development, testing, and implementation
* Experience in facilitation of requirements gathering workshops
* Modeling skills, to represent requirements information in graphical forms that augment textual representations in natural language
* Experience in working on projects with multiple Business Analysts
* Reasoning and decision-making skills, to determine and recommend solution alternatives that satisfy requirements while also meeting aggressive schedules and budgets
Role's & Responsibilities:
* Lead requirement elicitation workshops
* Documenting and managing requirements throughout development lifecycle
* Validating requirements test coverage in test strategy, test plan and test scenarios
* Focal point for desired business solution for all IS groups
* Support the Solution Architect in defining the solution and communicating to the application team
* Clearly articulate the system solution to all business partners and application Business Analysts
* Facilitate meetings with business and IS people, over phone using web conferencing with large number of people
* Support Enterprise Test phase of the project
* Understanding trends in the market and preparing detailed business plan
* Coordinates with multiple teams in the project to resolve all the queries related to business requirements
Desirable Technical / Functional Skills
* Experience working in Retail Pharmacy/Healthcare domain
* Organizational skills, to work in a fast-paced environment, on multiple projects and tasks concurrently, while also working with the vast array of information gathered during elicitation and analysis and to cope with rapidly changing information * Interpersonal skills, to help negotiate priorities and to resolve conflicts among project stakeholders (such as customers, project management, and technical staff) * Interviewing skills, to talk with individuals and groups about their needs and ask the right questions to surface essential requirements information
