Job Title:               Project Manager
Job Location:       Minneapolis, Minnesota

Duration                12+ months

 

PROJECT SUMMARY:

Enterprise Money Movement.

This is a multi-year program to develop a centralized money movement infrastructure. The project is made up of several workstreams. I am looking for a PM to lead a workstream focusing on client money movement capabilities and controls for transactions in and out of external bank accounts (primarily ACH transactions). This workstream is accountable for approximately $4MM of a $10MM program.

*** Experience leading large projects as part of a large program. Requires significant daily interaction and facilitation of business and technology leaders. Must be comfortable working through alignment on decisions with multiple stakeholders from multiple departments. Must have comfort facilitating direct communication with VPs/directors on a regular basis.

*** Experience with money movement policy, procedure and/or systems. It would be extremely desirable if the candidate has experience working with both waterfall and Agile methodologies. 

TOP REQUIREMENTS: 

Self-starter, Experience leading and facilitating business and technology leaders from multiple departments. Financial services experience.

SPECIFIC SYSTEM/TOOL EXPERIENCE:

Prior experience with project management and related tools at Ameriprise is highly desirable.

*** Fund/money movement policies that will apply directly to this project: In 2014 will include: transferring cash and securities between brokerage accounts at Ameriprise, from Brokerage to external banks or checks to clients, transferring from external banks to brokerage accounts, and management of external bank information.
