Job Description:
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on JBoss experience, to help with buildout/configuration/clustering/best practices/troubleshooting/performance tuning for EAP and CE JBoss, as we have numerous applications that we support, which are moving from Weblogic to JBoss this year. As such, a good understanding of Weblogic is also very preferable, especially if they have ever migrated apps from eblogic to jboss. We currently support JBoss EAP 6.x and CE 7.x along with Weblogic 9.2, 10.3.x, and 12c and Apache. The candidate who is selected will work on this team and must be able to support all the apps within this purview. While will be supporting , the expertise in will help This resource will support existing weblogic, apache and Jboss, as well as, BUILD OUT new JBOSS applications as part of weblogic-to-Jboss conversions.
This is an ADMIN position NOT a developer, although some development background and/or scripting background could also be useful.
ALL our servers are Linux, NOT Windows.
This is for a position in Charlotte, NC, in 2WF building. Remote is NOT an option.
The initial contract is 6 months (plus). Based on another contract 18-month roll-off, I should be able to swing this resource over to fill that slot, which gains another 4-8 months, plus, depending . . .
PLEASE - ONLY vetted, hands-on ADMINS (HA, clustering, ... configuration out of the box --- ENTERPRISE-LEVEL, not simple/basic. PLUS Performance Tuning and Troubleshooting).
