Job Title: PlanetPress Software Engineer

Location: Boulder, CO

Duration : 12+ Months

 

Day in the Life:

Install, configure and support PlanetPress (PP) software in a live-production customer environment. 

Be able to work directly with the PP solution architect to convert their ideas and concepts into workflows within PP. 

Thrive in a team environment but also be willing to travel independently to customer locations. 

 

What You Bring to the Team:

Excellent written and oral skills are a must. 

Expertise with PlanetPress software suite is required 

Ability to understand customer requirements and participate in the design of a solution to meet them. 

Basic programming/scripting skills, including developing program flow, conditional logic, global and local variables. 

Basic database access skills, including creating queries, simple joins, sorting and grouping. 

Familiarity with page layout software, such as Adobe InDesign or QuarkXPress is preferred. 

Familiarity with XML, CSV and text file parsing. 

Understanding of Microsoft Windows administration, including setting up printers, ports, and network file sharing.
