Do you think any of your candidates would be ok with this job? My client said they need for a NW Engineer in Pittsfield, MA for 2+ Months that in all likelihood will extend beyond 2 Months. He said the order with the client is signed and waiting for a candidate.

Position : Network Engineer
Location : Pittsfield, MA
Duration : 2+ Months

 

Responsibilities

• Quickly develop an understanding of the existing networking infrastructure.
• Assist with planning, scheduling, and executing network-related changes in support of projects.
• Assist with day to day support and maintenance of the network infrastructure. 
• Assist with problem identification and resolution.
• Assist with monitoring the network infrastructure to proactively address and avoid issues.
• Define and maintain network components within the various management tools to ensure accurate and complete visibility and reporting.

 

About You

• Advanced Level of Routing and Switching expertise and experience.
• Design and Operational understanding of Spanning Tree and OSPF.
• Experience with Cisco Systems' routing and switching platforms.
• Experience implementing and supporting Wide Area Network Solutions.
• Experience implementing and supporting multicast, QOS, wireless, and VoIP.
• 5 or more years of hands-on experience working in a large enterprise with exposure to common processes and procedures around services and support.
• CCNA or equivalent
• Strong analytical skills and excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work independently and drive results under challenging (acquisition-related) circumstances
