Title: MSBI Lead

Location: Charlotte, NC
Duration: 6+ months

 

JOB DESCRIPTION:  

Skills:

·         Hand on experience in ODS , EDW and Data Mart  related projects

·         Data warehousing concepts (Dimensional data model vs. transactional, OLAP vs. OLTP etc).

·         Health Care related experience is a  plus specially in implementing and modeling Electronic Medical Record and Clinical Data.

·         Working knowledge of SQL Server 2012 is plus

·         Experience with PHI data and encryption and decryption technologies

·         Conceptual, Logical and Physical Data modeling experience.

·         Good understanding of Bill Inman and Kimball architectures.

·         Working with Data semantics and Business Data ,so they can design and articulate business rules and validations as it applies to data.

·         Data dictionaries and Designing Meta data.

·         Understanding about the data quality.

·         Entity Relationship (E-R) modeling, Data flows and interfaces and Enterprise Data Sources.

·         Experience working with the modeling tools.

·         Data Policies and driving requirements and best practices in the areas of data standards, data security and data stewardship.

·         Master Data Management (MDM) concepts and exposure.

·         Experience as data modeler

·         Some RDBMS experience is required

·         Experienced in relational and dimensional data modeling using overall modeling standards and best practices.

·         Understanding of normalization and de-normalization approach .

·         Experience in the design and modeling of Data warehouses and Data Marts Experience with architecture and concepts Self-motivated and able to .interface with users at all levels.

·         Healthcare Experience is preferred

Must have Skills:

Any one ETL and Reporting skills (Informatica/Datastage/ MSBI SSIS , MSBI - SSAS/SSRS, Cognos, BO).

SQL server 2012, Data Profiling and Modeling (Preferred), Microsoft Business Intelligence - MSBI
