Position: Teradata Developer with Teradata utilities exp

Location: Irwindale, CA

Duration: 3 months

 

Required

At least 4 years of experience with Advanced Oracle pl/sql concepts(Cursors, Stored procedures, Embedded sqls)

At least  4 years of experience with Teradata Basics(Tables , Index, Stats collection, Auditing, Compression)

At least 2 years of experience with SQL Performance Tuning capabilities.

At least 2 years of experience in Teradata Utilities (Fast load/multi load, fast clone/fast reader, fast extract), Teradata Architecture(Parallel processing, Teradata Components, Data Distribution, Space Management, Lock), Teradata Parallel Transporter(TPT) ,Teradata Data mover

At least 2 years of experience in Datawarehouse and Business Intelligence Skills 

At least 3 years of experience in software development life cycle.

At least 3 years of experience in Project life cycle activities on development and maintenance projects.

At least 2 years of experience in Design and architecture review.

Strong Analytical skills

 

Desirable

At least 2 years of experience in InfoSphere DataStage v8.5/7.5.X (DataStage Enterprise Edition) and ETL Skills 

Experience in DataStage Clients - Designer, Manager, Director & Administrator.

Experience in processing stages to implement the ETL logic to achieve optimal performance.

Experience in writing DataStage routines.

Experience in Unix OS Commands as well as shell scripting.

Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment

Experience working in Utilities domain
