Position: Sr. Data Engineer

Location: Beaverton, OR

Duration: 6 Months

 

Job Description:        

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent required

5 years of in-depth IT experience working as a Data Engineer on multiple projects and business functions required

Experience working with both Oracle 9i and 11g required

Experience working with Mongo DB  (or other No SQL technologies such as Cassandra) required

Logical and physical data modeling experience preferred, specifically working with Erwin

Experience working in an Agile development team to plan, design and develop solutions preferred

Experience designing and developing SQL and PLSQL solutions including DDL and DML required track record of solving problems and getting things done in a fast pace, ever evolving environment

Successfully managing large amounts of data and or high throughput on distributed systems

Professional experience with low-level optimizing, tuning and debugging for performance

Knowledge of 11g Enterprise Manager a plus

Excellent verbal and written communication and collaboration skills

Strong business acumen to Qu
