Position: iOS/Cocoa Touch Consultant

Location: Sunnyvale,CA

Duration: 6 months

 

Job Responsibilities       Candidate should have experience in at least  one of the below Tools/Technologies

 

Objective - C/Cocoa or

Instruments or Clang

Xcode

 

Activities include:

Ability to design complex modules and also review high level and detail designs.

Requires strong technical knowledge and hands on in Objective-C.

Ability to analyze requirements and check for feasibility of UI related components.

Review during various stages of development life cycle and log defects in defect tracking tool.

Ability to guide and mentor team in Cocoa related projects.

Ability to analyze, detect and prevent memory leaks in an application.

Ability to do performance tuning in the application if applicable.

Ability to come up with medium to high complex UI depending on user requirements

Ability to analyse requirements and assist in effort estimation for various modules.

 

Technical skills required

Strong technical skills in

Objective C/Cocoa including Foundation Kit and Application Kit frameworks or iOS/Cocoa Touch including UIKit framework

Memory management in Objective C

Implementing Protocols, Delegates and Notifications.

Implementing medium to complex UIs for Mac/iPhone.

Knowledge on Core Data, Core Graphics framework

Basic knowledge on transfer of data from client to server using XML or JSON

Knowledge on different design patterns that can be used.
