Position: BI Data Architect
Location: Mahwah, NJ
Duration: 12+ Months
Required:
DBMS: SQL Server 2008 R 2/SQL Server 2012, Oracle 10g
Languages: SQL, T-SQL, oracle PL/SQL
Operating Systems: Linux, Unix, Windows
Tools/Utilities: Sybase Power Designer, MS SSIS/SSAS/SSRS, Toad ,SQL Server Management Studio
Strong background in SQL
Performance tuning, partitioning on SQL server
Strong Data modeling experience with one or more of the data modeling tools like Sybase Power designer ( 3-5 years of experience) or Erwin Strong in Inmon and Kimball datawarehousing methodologies
Strong in 3NF and Dimensional modeling
Experience with SQL Server 2010, SQL Server 2012.
Support and guide ETL and report development teams (offshore and onsite)
Expertise in creation of logical and physical data models using ERWIN
Create Dimensional Model (Star Schema) , experience in SSAS, SQL Server DB
Understand and translate business needs into data models supporting long-term solutions
Data Profiling, Data Analysis , Data Lifecycle Management required for UPS B
