Title: SAS Business Analyst

This person is a BSA with knowledge of SAS, Teradata SQL, and Informatica (would be a huge plus). They should understand the SDLC, should be able to develop technical requirements, and read and work with SAS code.
Job Duties:
• Act as requirements project lead for medium to large projects, directing and coordinating requirements project staff and activities
• Oversee production support of core projects, including gathering and documenting requirements, translating functional requirements to technical requirements, preparing and managing the project plan, and recommending solutions
• Partner with business users and act as a liaison between business and technical teams
• Coordinate development, testing, and implementation of solutions with vendors
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required minimum qualifications include:
• Demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst with track record of delivering business process requirements and use cases
• Project management experience/knowledge, with ability to drive projects to successful completion
• Solid experience and understanding of Rational Unified Process Methodology in developing use cases, use case model, supplementary requirements, and business rules is essential (want minimum years of experience??)
• Solid understanding of relevant business issues
• Prior experience interfacing with various partners, including vendors, offshore development teams, and internal groups
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, influencing, prioritization, decision- making and conflict resolution skills
• Excellent written/verbal communication skills
• Strong knowledge of MS Project, Excel, MS Word and Visio Drawing tool along with general familiarity with Outlook and other MS Office applications is also required
