Job Title: Build & Release QA consultant
Location:  Charlotte, NC
Duration: Long Term

Must have Skills
•At least 4-6 years Quality Assurance experience
•2-3 years' experience with Configuration management tools. (i.e., SCM, CVS, etc.)
•2-3 years experience in managing large scale multiple environments comprising diverse development platforms, computing environments, software, and hardware technologies.
•Strong experience working in a matrix/cross-functional organization setup
•Hands on experience coordinating large-scale test releases.
•Experience working in a Global Delivery model (onshore & offshore)

Roles & Responsibilities:
•Work actively with development, delivery and QA to manage release cycles.
•Work closely with the QA Team with prioritization of testing activities, and building, delivering and maintaining of non-production environments and tools.
•Coordinate on testing goals within the non-production environment, with other managers, including Development, delivery, Environment Team, & Business Process Leads
•Ensure build delivery components are from controlled sources
•Manage release process and release activities within non-production arena.
•Use past experience, best practices, to improve overall release quality.
•Deliver appropriate build, operations and support documentation for the build and test environments
•Follow an analytical process to setup and maintain environments and uses automation tools to populate non-production environments.
•Hands on experience coordinating large-scale test releases.
•Strong bias for action; ability to juggle multiple priorities and create a sense of urgency in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
•Work with application owners to build a knowledge base that will aid first level environment support capability.
