·         B.S. in Computer Science or related field AND three (3) years experience that can demonstrate expertise and abilities in the following areas:

·         Designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining software applications usable on MS Windows platform.

·         Server, Web hosting and services, process and procedures, using any of the following tools or examples:  web forms, custom objects, HTML, DHTML, XHTML, XML, XSL, Advanced Java, JSP, Active Directory, CSS, SSL, Apache, Tomcat, IIS.

·         Developing and maintaining Relational Databases including stored procedures, functions, triggers and scripting, Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server (current Agency standard version)

·         Designing, developing, and delivering web-based applications for common internet browser types (Internet Explorer, Mozilla, Firefox, etc)

·         Developing applications with document managements functionalities (ie, browsing, attaching, indexing, cataloging, associating, and storing documents)

·         Modernizing/refactoring/rewriting existing desktop client/server applications into web based applications

·         Provide technical support to users of implemented systems

·         Maintenance and support of legacy applications, including PowerBuilder

·         Comprehensive software architecture, design/development of presentation tier, middle tier and data tier

·         Development of web and client server applications including seamless cross-tier integration of functionality

·         Java and other 3 GL programming languages (.NET, C++, etc)

·         Scripting languages (PHP, Perl, ASP, Jscript, etc)

·         Source control tools

·         Complete range of software development lifecycle activities, including requirements gathering, design and documentation activities

·         Working in a small team environment
